What Convinces Everyone We Are God's Servants

Num 16:3    And they gathered themselves together against Moses and against Aaron, and said unto them, Ye take too much upon you, seeing all the congregation are holy, every one of them, and the LORD is among them: wherefore then lift ye up yourselves above the congregation of the LORD?
Num 16:4    And when Moses heard it, he fell upon his face:
Num 16:5    And he spake unto Korah and unto all his company, saying, Even to morrow the LORD will shew who are his, and who is holy; and will cause him to come near unto him: even him whom he hath chosen will he cause to come near unto him.

Num 17:2    Speak unto the children of Israel, and take of every one of them a rod according to the house of their fathers, of all their princes according to the house of their fathers twelve rods: write thou every man's name upon his rod.
Num 17:3    And thou shalt write Aaron's name upon the rod of Levi: for one rod shall be for the head of the house of their fathers.
Num 17:4    And thou shalt lay them up in the tabernacle of the congregation before the testimony, where I will meet with you.
Num 17:5    And it shall come to pass, that the man's rod, whom I shall choose, shall blossom: and I will make to cease from me the murmurings of the children of Israel, whereby they murmur against you.

Num 17:8    And it came to pass, that on the morrow Moses went into the tabernacle of witness; and, behold, the rod of Aaron for the house of Levi was budded, and brought forth buds, and bloomed blossoms, and yielded almonds.
Num 17:9    And Moses brought out all the rods from before the LORD unto all the children of Israel: and they looked, and took every man his rod.
Num 17:10    And the LORD said unto Moses, Bring Aaron's rod again before the testimony, to be kept for a token against the rebels; and thou shalt quite take away their murmurings from me, that they die not.

The detail we wish to point out is how the supernatural life that both resurrected the dead rod and caused it to bear buds, flowers and fruit at the same time SILENCED THE complainers.

Resurrection life will do the same in our lives.

This resurrected state of the almond rod was so convincing to the murmurers that God knew it would forever silence any future complaints they might have as to who they thought should be the ministers of God to work as priests.

Resurrection life was powerful proof in Jesus Christ's life as well.

Heb 7:23    And they truly were many priests, because they were not suffered to continue by reason of death:
Heb 7:24    But this man, because he continueth ever, hath an unchangeable priesthood.
Heb 7:25    Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them.

The Old Testament priesthood was inferior to Jesus Christ's because they died and could not continue to work all that had to be done in people's lives.

This deals with deliverance from evil here and in the life hereafter.

Nothing in this life needs to get power over us if we can only get our eyes opened to this.

Eph 1:19    And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power,
Eph 1:20    Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places,
Eph 1:21    Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come:

Just as the rod of Aaron was dead and resurrected, Jesus was dead and raised again.

True priesthood that is effective and is able to save souls to the uttermost is priesthood that is established by resurrection.

Heb 7:16    Who is made, not after the law of a carnal commandment, but after the power of an endless life.
Heb 7:17    For he testifieth, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec.

Rom 6:9    Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him.
Rom 6:10    For in that he died, he died unto sin once: but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God.

Resurrection life is also associated with us as Christians.

Rom 6:13    Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God.

WE find this life from the dead is what Paul was speaking about earlier when he said:

Rom 6:4    Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
Rom 6:5    For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:
Rom 6:6    Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.

Walking in newness of life...

This newness of life means it is not the old life we depend upon any more.

A true priesthood means resurrection power is on us and we do not live the way people who are not saved life in their restrictions.

HOW MUCH DOES YOUR LIFE PROVE THIS?

Do you see God intervene and perform wonders in your life?

If you treat problems the way sinners do by never giving it to God and waiting for His hand to intervene, then we will never see the results of supernatural intervention.

This is called the law of the Spirit of Life in Christ Jesus.

Rom 8:1    There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
Rom 8:2    For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.

A law is an explanation of how something works in a certain way.

It means God works in certain conditions.

You have to wait on the Lord and not jump around and do what everyone who is not saved does when troubles arise.

This is seeing resurrection life energize you.

So many minister in the flesh with no real revelation, and no anointing.

No newness of life.

The opposite of newness of life is OLDNESS of life.

Isa 40:27    Why sayest thou, O Jacob, and speakest, O Israel, My way is hid from the LORD, and my judgment is passed over from my God?

This describes times when things are gone wrong, and we are suffering.

What is the answer?

Isa 40:28    Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding.
Isa 40:29    He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength.
Isa 40:30    Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall:
Isa 40:31    But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

All of the power needed to run the universe while at the same time watching
every single servant of His, and HE DOES NOT GET TIRED AT IT.

Such Tremendous power required to do these things, BUT HE NEVER GETS TIRED!

He gives power to the faint.... those who are ready to faint and give up.

But we have a part to play.

WAIT ON THE LORD.

You can complain and murmur, yourself, too!

ADAM CLARKE: They shall mount up with wings as eagles “They shall put forth
fresh feathers like the moulting eagle” - It has been a common and popular
opinion that the eagle lives and retains his vigor to a great age; and that,
beyond the common lot of other birds, he moults in his old age, and renews his
feathers, and with them his youth. “Thou shalt renew thy youth like the eagle,
“says the psalmist, Psa 103:5; on which place St. Ambrose notes, “The eagle
lives to a very advanced age; and in moulting his youth is renewed with his new
feathers.” Phile, De Animalibus, treating of the eagle, and addressing himself
to the emperor Michael Palaeologus junior, raises his compliment upon the same
notion: -“Long may’st thou live, O king; still like the eagleRenew thy youth,
and still retain thy vigor.”

So the key for supernatural power is to wait on God.

BE PATIENT AFTER YOU PRAY and YOU WILL SEE THE MIRACULOUS COME in due time.
