Satisfaction Only Found in Being What God Created Us to Be

The pursuit of Happiness is a never ending marathon race if you do not know where to go to find it.

But there is satisfaction. The Bible said there is.

The first step to attaining this satisfaction is becoming aware of yourself.

This awareness of ourselves stems from the very beginning of mankind. God made man in His own image .

God's image is intended to be a vehicle for God's goodness to flow through and touch this world.

But man refused to take it and is lacking something today.

WATER is what our natural lives basically depend upon.

With that in mind: Jesus told a woman at a well of water that she would thirst again and again should she drink of that water. This goes back to Eden! 1 Corinthians 6:19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? God's intentions were never fulfilled. Ephesians 4:18 Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart: Luke 3:38 Which was the son of Enos, which was the son of Seth, which was the son of Adam, which was the son of God. Luke 1:35 And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God. Notice this:

Genesis 2:19-23 And out of the ground the LORD God formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air; and brought them unto Adam to see what he would call them: and whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that [was] the name thereof. And Adam gave names to all cattle, and to the fowl of the air, and to every beast of the field; but for Adam there was not found an help meet for him. And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof; And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man. And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.

(Though Adam failed, we see God's plan in Adam's existence)

John 1:4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men.

John 3:36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.

John 4:4 And he must needs go through Samaria. John 10:10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have [it] more abundantly. John 4:25-29 The woman saith unto him, I know that Messias cometh, which is called Christ: when he is come, he will tell us all things. Jesus saith unto her, I that speak unto thee am he. And upon this came his disciples, and marvelled that he talked with the woman: yet no man said, What seekest thou? or, Why talkest thou with her? The woman then left her waterpot, and went her way into the city, and saith to the men, Come, see a man, which told me all things that ever I did: is not this the Christ? While she was gone He spoke to His disciples some interesting words in light of this event.

John 4:35-38 Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh harvest? behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest. And he that reapeth receiveth wages, and gathereth fruit unto life eternal: that both he that soweth and he that reapeth may rejoice together. And herein is that saying true, One soweth, and another reapeth. I sent you to reap that whereon ye bestowed no labour: other men laboured, and ye are entered into their labours.

And then we read:

John 4:39 And many of the Samaritans of that city believed on him for the saying of the woman, which testified, He told me all that ever I did.

John 3:36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.

Well, the story goes on. Recall that Adam needed one who lived by his own life to suit Him.

And since Adam could not find one, Adam's life was laid down and God took from within Adam that which was his life and made a mate. John 19:33-34 But when they came to Jesus, and saw that he was dead already, they brake not his legs: But one of the soldiers with a spear pierced his side, and forthwith came there out blood and water.

From His side, from within Him and from His life, God took blood and water and made a mate for Him.

John 4:10 Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water. John 3:5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. Back in John 3:29 Jesus made a statement about believing in the Son of God to receive eternal life. And like an explanation of what he meant, we read where He had to go to Samaria and talk to a woman about receiving living water from Him.

John 3:36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.

Four verses later HE MUST NEEDS GO TO SAMARIA.
