Isaiah 6:1-3 In the year that king Uzziah died I saw also the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up, and his train filled the temple. Above it stood the seraphims: each one had six wings; with
twain he covered his face, and with twain he covered his feet, and with twain he did fly. And one cried unto another, and said, Holy, holy, holy, is the LORD of hosts: the whole earth is full of his glory.

SEE HIS GLORY AND THEN EXPERIENCE HIS POWER
May 11, 2012

When Isaiah saw the Lord on the throne, he saw something that had not taken place yet.
John 12:39-41 Therefore they could not believe, because that Esaias said again, He hath blinded their eyes, and hardened their heart; that they should not see with their eyes, nor understand with their heart, and be converted, and I should heal them. These things said Esaias, when he saw his glory, and spake of him.

So we are reading that Isaiah saw the glory of Jesus sitting on His throne in the very chapter that John said Jesus came to Jerusalme on the donkey as THEIR KING!

Isaiah 6:10 Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear withtheir ears, and understand with their heart, and convert, and be healed.

 Jesus did not sit on the Right Hand throne until after His resurrection.
 So Isaiah was seeing his future.

This "right hand" seating is exactly what Paul prayed for his readers to see.

Ephesians 1:15-23 Wherefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus, and love unto all the saints, Cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers; that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power, Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places, Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come: And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church, Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all.

We need to SEE the power that God used to put Jesus on the throne is the power that is for us.

I once preached a message about the need for Elisha to SEE Elijah ascend before he could get a double portion of Elijah’s anointing.

So seeing is a real spiritual breakthrough in our understanding.

Elijah told Elisha he must SEE to gain the double port he requested.  After Elijah was gone, Elisha prayed for his servant to SEE THE SAME THING:

2 Kings 2:9-12 KJV And it came to pass, when they were gone over, that Elijah said unto Elisha, Ask what I shall do for thee, before I be taken away from thee. And Elisha said, I pray thee, let a double portion of thy spirit be upon me. (10) And he said, Thou hast asked a hard thing: nevertheless, if thou see me when I am taken from thee, it shall be so unto thee; but if not, it shall not be so. (11) And it came to pass, as they still went on, and talked, that, behold, there appeared a chariot of fire, and horses of fire, and parted them both asunder; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven. (12) And Elisha saw it, and he cried, My father, my father, the chariot of Israel, and the horsemen thereof. And he saw him no more: and he took hold of his own clothes, and rent them in two pieces.

2 Kings 6:17 KJV And Elisha prayed, and said, LORD, I pray thee, open his eyes, that he may see. And the LORD opened the eyes of the young man; and he saw: and, behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots offire round about Elisha.

Both involved chariots of fire.
John 3:3 KJV Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

John 3:5 KJV Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man  be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom ofGod.

You cannot ENTER what you FIRST cannot SEE!

You SEE IT AND THEN ENTER IT.

John 14:12 KJV Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.

Like Elijah telling Elsha he would have a double portion of his ministry, Jesus told us we would do greater things than Jesus, ALL BECAUSE HE WASASCENDING.

After ISAIAH SAW the Lord on the throne, we read Seraphims cried out something very significant, and is no coincidence:

Isaiah 6:1-4 KJV In the year that king Uzziah died I saw also the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up, and his train filled the temple. (2) Above it stood the seraphims: each one had six wings; with twain he covered his face, and with twain he covered his feet, and with twain he did fly. (3) And one cried unto another, and said, Holy, holy, holy, is the LORD of hosts: the whole earth is full of his glory. (4) And the posts of the door moved at the voice of him that cried, and the house was filled with smoke.

When we SEE, the power of God ALL OVER JESUS ON HIS THRONE is going to break through the doors of Heaven’s temple and pour down upon us inthe earth.
