Genesis 2:18-24 KJV  And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.  (19)  And out of the ground the LORD God formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air; and brought them unto Adam to see what he would call them: and whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that was the name thereof.  (20)  And Adam gave names to all cattle, and to the fowl of the air, and to every beast of the field; but for Adam there was not found an help meet for him.  (21)  And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof;  (22)  And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man.  (23)  And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.  (24)  Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.

God made a statement saying man should not be alone.
Gen 2: .  (20)  And Adam gave names to all cattle, and to the fowl of the air, and to every beast of the field; but for Adam there was not found an help meet for him.
Naming the creatures was associated with finding a HELP FOR ADAM.

And when we see God cause Adam to sleep and remove a rib to make the woman, we read:

Gen 2 (22)  And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man.  (23)  And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.

Adam calls her WOMAN.

Genesis 2:19 KJV  And out of the ground the LORD God formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air; and brought them unto Adam to see what he would call them: and whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that was the name thereof.

Genesis 2:22 KJV  And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man.

So God makes animals from the ground and a woman from Adam’s rib, and brought her to the man just as he brought the animals to Adam.

John 19:34 KJV  But one of the soldiers with a spear pierced his side, and forthwith came there out blood and water.

It seems to remind us of EVE’S ORIGIN.
Galatians 5:22 KJV  But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,

John 15:1-4 KJV  I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman.  (2)  Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.  (3)  Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.  (4)  Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.

Like a branch bearing FRUIT for the VINE, we ABIDE IN CHRIST in a true REUNION, and FRUIT is produced.

The rib came from Adam IN HIS DEEP SLEEP.

The Church came from Christ IN HIS DEATH OF THE CROSS.

Fruit of the Spirit are contrary to works of the flesh.

When Jesus died, His side was pierced, and blood and water came forth.

Hebrews 10 says the veil stands for HIS FLESH.

Psalms 91:1-16 KJV  He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.  (2)  I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.

When you are able to TRUST IN GOD, you are truly abiding in Him.

(3)  Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.  (4)  He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.

You are seated with Him on the MERCYSEAT underneath the WINGS OF THE CHERUBIMS.

(5)  Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;  (6)  Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.  (7)  A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.  (8)  Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked.  (9)  Because thou hast made the LORD, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation;  (10)  There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.  (11)  For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.  (12)  They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.  (13)  Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet.  (14)  [NOW THE WRITING SPEAKS FROM GOD’S PERSPECTIVE] Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name.  (15)  He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him.  (16)  With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation.

When you abide in Christ, HE IS YOUR REFUGE!

When life’s situations arise, and you have enough faith to claim your relationship to God through Jesus Christ, and you KNOW that faith will move God to trust Him, so you exert faith and remain CALM expecting Him to bless, YOU ARE ABIDING IN CHRIST!

THIS is INTIMACY with the Lord!
