Life Inside the Veiled Holiest

Exod 26:31-35 And thou shalt make
a vail [of] blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen of cunning
work: with cherubims shall it be made: And thou shalt hang it upon four
pillars of shittim [wood] overlaid with gold: their hooks [shall be of]
gold, upon the four sockets of silver. And thou shalt hang up the vail
under the taches, that thou mayest bring in thither within the vail the
ark of the testimony: and the vail shall divide unto you between the holy
[place] and the most holy. And thou shalt put the mercy seat upon the ark
of the testimony in the most holy [place]. And thou shalt set the table
without the vail, and the candlestick over against the table on the side
of the tabernacle toward the south: and thou shalt put the table on the
north side.
Hebr 10:19-22 Having therefore, brethren,
boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus, By a new
and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that
is to say, his flesh; And [having] an high priest over the house of God;
Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our
hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure
water.
A place called the most holy place was separated by another place called
simply the holy place.
-
Within the most holy place was the great ark of the covenant and the mercy
seat upon the Ark.
-
A veil separated the two places.
-
The candlestick was outside the veil along with the fellowship table
of shewbread.
We are told that the veil of the Temple was a symbol of Christ's flesh.
-
As much as one had to go through the veil in order to enter into the most
holy place where God's very presence dwelt on earth, we must go through
Christ today to enter the most holy place.
-
The veil is alive today.
-
It is the flesh of Christ.
-
We go through the veil, or it is said, we go through by the blood of Jesus.
And since Christ's flesh is the veil, and we pass through the veil and
"into" the most holy place, then being IN CHRIST is being in the most holy
place.
-
So many times we read about blessings that are only found IN CHRIST.
In Christ is where God decided to meet mankind.
-
In Him should all fullness dwell (Col. 1:19)
Colo 1:20-22 And, having made peace
through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself;
by him, [I say], whether [they be] things in earth, or things in heaven.
And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in [your] mind by wicked
works, yet now hath he reconciled In the body of his flesh through death,
to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight:
THROUGH the blood of the cross...
-
When Jesus' flesh was broken in death...
-
(This is not talking about bones of his body broken, for the Bible says
that not one bone of His body should be broken, and that si the reason
the soldiers found Him dead already, when they sought to break his legs
on the cross in case he had not died yet to cause quicker death.)
-
(But it is a breaking in death.)
-
(When Jesus died, the VEIL BROKE, or ripped.)
-
(That is the reason He took bread and BROKE it and said this is my body
which is broken for you.)
-
His FLESH wad broken so the blood could flow out.
-
Not His bones.
When Jesus died and at the same moment, the veil ripped in the temple,
that was trying to tell us that the Holy God who dwelt inside the Holiest
of Holies was inside the Body of Christ.
-
He is the one to whom Jesus referred when He said "The Father that dwelleth
in me, He doeth the works."
-
The God of the Old Testament, beyond the veil, apart from man, was the
same one One who dwelt within Christ's flesh as within that holiest.
...When He died on the cross, the veil ripped open.
You have to get past the veil in order to get the fullness of God.
-
Christ is the veil.
-
In Christ is all fullness.
-
He is the Holiest of Holies.
God was manifest IN THE FLESH.
-
If we could only get IN that flesh.
-
Get IN CHRIST.
-
And we can.
Dani 9:24 Seventy weeks are determined
upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and
to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to
bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy,
and to anoint the most Holy.
Luke 4:18-19 The Spirit of the Lord
[is] upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel
to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance
to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty
them that are bruised, To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.
Christ is the most holy and was anointed already.
We have been put in Christ, and since he is the most holy, what do you
think getting into Him is going to do for us?
Colo 1:21-22 And you, that were
sometime alienated and enemies in [your] mind by wicked works, yet now
hath he reconciled In the body of his flesh through death, to present you
holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight:
It says that if we are in Christ, and He is the most Holy, then WE WILL
BE PRESENTED Holy and Unblameable and unreproveable in God's sight!
-
A day of presentation is coming.
Ephe 1:4 According as he hath
chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that
we should be holy and without blame before him in love:
Ephe 5:27 That he might present it to himself
a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but
that it should be holy and without blemish.
Colossians went on to say that we will be presented if we continue in the
faith.
God dwelt in the Holiest of Christ---
-
He dwelt inside that veil of flesh.
-
Time came for that which was hidden for all time since the begging, that
eye could not see, nor ear hear, to be made available to mankind.
Since we united with Jesus' death, burial and resurrection, it was only
proper that we should \also have the same Spirit that raised Him from the
dead.
-
That is why you can receive the Holy Ghost.
Jordan was rent at the end of the exodus, where Jesus was baptized centuries
later, and the promises of God were opened up to the Hebrews.
-
Christ is our promised land.
When we sing SHUT IN WITH GOD IN A SECRET PLACE.
-
...we are singing about BEING IN CHRIST.
Psal 91:1 He that dwelleth in the secret
place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
Moses walked on HOLY GROUND.
-
God told him to remove his shoes.
-
And he saw a fire burning in a bush.
-
Years later God told him to build a tabernacle with a holy place and a
most holy place.
-
That most holy place was a pattern of the place Moses enetred into on holy
ground.
-
Where the fire was.
-
God is a consuming fire.
Luke 9:28-30 And it came to pass about
an eight days after these sayings, he took Peter and John and James, and
went up into a mountain to pray. And as he prayed, the fashion of
his countenance was altered, and his raiment [was] white [and] glistering.
And, behold, there talked with him two men, which were Moses and Elias:
Like two cherubim on either side of the mercy seat, Moses and Elijah stood
with Christ.
-
Christ was the one in the middle.
-
Law and prophets stood as two witnesses aside Christ.
Luke 9:31 Who appeared in glory, and
spake of his decease which he should accomplish at Jerusalem.
They spoke of the decease or the death of the cross that Jesus should accomplish
at Jerusalem.
-
Praise God!
-
The disciples got this chance to enter into the holiest momentarily.
-
And what was being discussed was the decease that should happen.
-
The death of Christ.
-
The thing that would open up the veil of Christ's flesh so all could enter
into the Holiest who would believe.
Luke 9:32 But Peter and they that were
with him were heavy with sleep: and when they were awake, they saw his
glory, and the two men that stood with him.
In a sort of performace of what truly happened with mankind, Peter and
the disciples slept while this went on.
-
Man was in a sleep wherein he could not see.
-
But they awakened and SAW THE GLORY.
Luke 9:33-34 And it came to pass, as
they departed from him, Peter said unto Jesus, Master, it is good for us
to be here: and let us make three tabernacles; one for thee, and one for
Moses, and one for Elias: not knowing what he said. While he thus spake,
there came a cloud, and overshadowed them: and they feared as they entered
into the cloud.
They entered the cloud.
-
They entered the most holy place.
Luke 9:35-36 And there came a voice
out of the cloud, saying, This is my beloved Son: hear him. And when the
voice was past, Jesus was found alone. And they kept [it] close, and told
no man in those days any of those things which they had seen.
MOSES
Exod 24:15-18 And Moses went up
into the mount, and a cloud covered the mount. And the glory of the LORD
abode upon mount Sinai, and the cloud covered it six days: and the seventh
day he called unto Moses out of the midst of the cloud. And the sight of
the glory of the LORD [was] like devouring fire on the top of the mount
in the eyes of the children of Israel. And Moses went into the midst of
the cloud, and gat him up into the mount: and Moses was in the mount forty
days and forty nights.
All this scenery of a holiest of holies is seen again and again in the
Old Testament, and is focused around the death of Jesus, and something
being opened up to us.
Life was inside that Holiest.
-
God's life.
-
And since the veil was Christ's felsh, it was like a blood covenant was
made.
-
One slit one's arm and pressed it against the arm of the other, who did
the same, with whom covenant was made.
-
Blood flowed each arm to the other.
-
Blood was mingled.
-
And when the veil ripped, God cut a covenant with man.
-
God's flesh was Christ.
-
The Body of Christ was the temple of God.
-
And the LIFE, like blood, inside the Holiest flowed forth to mingle with
our lives.
-
That is the reason we are baptized in Jesus name.
-
We also break our lives in union with His death.
-
We are BURIED WITH HIM.
-
And our lives and His life mingle and they become one.
-
A covenant is a testament.
-
THIS IS THE NEW TESTAMENT, IN MY BLOOD, Jesus said.
This covenant makes us one with Christ.
-
We are no longer separated, but through the covenant we are one.
Colo 1:19 For it pleased [the
Father] that in him should all fulness dwell;
Colo 1:22 In the body of his flesh through
death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight:
Union to Christ is the only way we are ever going to be presented Holy
to God.
-
Why don't you unite to Him today?
-
Die with Him as you repent of all your sins.
-
He gave His LIFE.
-
He shed His blood.
-
The veil of His flesh was ripped open.
John 6:57 As the living Father hath
sent me, and I live by the Father: so he that eateth me, even he shall
live by me.
Jesus lived by the Father.
-
The very life inside Jesus, like blood in Him, was the Father.
-
And when that veil ripped open, LIFE came forth.
-
SPIRIT.
-
God is a Spirit.
Roma 8:2 For the law of the Spirit of
life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.
SPIRIT OF LIFE IN CHRIST.
-
As if God cut His flesh, cut Christ -- the veil, and God's Spirit came
forth.
-
His flesh is opened.
-
His life has been flowing forth to all like a RIVER OF LIFE.
-
And Christ's life was opened up to all through death.
-
You can unite with Him only through union by DEATH, also.
-
Repent of all your sins.
-
Stop living the old sinful life with the old sinful crowd.
-
Die with Christ, and be buried into HIS DEATH.
Blood flowed from one person INTO the other's arm.
-
Christ is often called the RIGHT HAND OF GOD.
-
The power of God.
-
God's right hand of fellowship was opened and rent for you to join your
life with His.
In Revelation we read of a throne of God and the Lamb.
-
And a RIVER OF LIFE flows from it.
-
Blood is the LIFE of the flesh.
-
And we read that whoever thirsts may come and drink.
-
Jesus said "This is the new testament in my blood, drink."
Reve 22:1 And he shewed me a pure river
of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God
and of the Lamb.
Reve 22:17 And the Spirit and the bride
say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst
come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.
The last verse tells us that this river is not a thing that is not flowing
right now.
-
If we see a river flowing from the Lamb and God, and we are later told
to come right now if we are thirsty, and drink of the water of life freely,
then this is not a future picture we are reading in Revelation 22.
-
It is a NOW picture.
-
That river is clear as crystal.
-
SINLESS BLOOD.
