The Discovery of the Convent of Saint Monica
which later became the Santa Monica Museum of Religious Art

The Convent of Saint Monica was discovered to be in operation housing cloistered nuns in 1934.  Mexico demanded that all cloistered convents be shut down prior to this, and detective Valente Quintana discovered this one still in operation.

Salazar Monroy is the author of this book, Puebla Collection In English,  that was printed in 1945.  In it, the story of the discovery of the convent is enclosed, showing that the law of Mexico demanded that all cloistered convents be out of operation.  We will also display for you the notes from the book that corroborate with Sister Charlotte's Testimony.
