AND SOLID-ROCK PROTECTION

Matthew 7:21-27  Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock. And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.

In this portion of scripture, Jesus explained the issue of what it takes to enter into the Kingdom of heaven. I have always heard it said that this scripture applies to the day when we will either enter Heaven or be lost and enter into Hell, to put it plainly, after this life is over. Notice what Jesus said in John 7. When Jesus referred to the will of the Father, He was referring to the words that He spoke. So when we read....
Matthew 7:24  Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them...
...we know He is referring to doing the Father's will. If you do the will of the Father, you are hearing Jesus' words and doing them, you are entering into a place of safety RIGHT NOW IN THIS LIFE. God's KINGDOM cannot be shaken. So, if the NAME of the Lord is a strong tower we can run into and be safe, and the KINGDOM of God cannot be shaken when everything else shakes, then BOTH SPEAK OF THE SAME THING.

The will of the Father is noted in Jesus' prayer.

Luke 22:42  Saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done
The fool built his house on sand. You must be born again to ENTER the Kingdom.
Revelation 22:14  Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.
You can ENTER in and enjoy fruit of Life NOW if you do His commandments, or HIS WILL. The gates of hell cannot come against the House on the Rock. You enter PROTECTION when you ENTER THE KINGDOM.

Remember the GRACE that saved you?

MULTIPLIED GRACE. God's Protection. Mathew 7 shows Jesus saying I NEVER KNEW YOU to those who could not enter the protection. The word KNOW here is an intimate deep love, like ADAM KNEW EVE. Jesus said NOT MY WILL BUT THINE BE DONE when He prayed to the Father. Beyond one with His death, burial and resurrection, we are ONE IN THE FATHER'S WILL. People who KNOW HIM are protected IN HIS KINGDOM.

That is why Peter said,

2Peter 1:2-3  Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord, According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:
KNOWING Jesus is DOING THE FATHER'S WILL. But Peter also spoke of the folks on the sand. UNSTABLE SOULS. Paul said we need ministries to feed us God's Word...
Ephesians 4:14  That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;
And the WINDS of Matthew's words about the winds that blew on the house on rock and the house on sand, are these winds of false doctrine. Peter also speaks of FALLING like the fool's house on sand FELL when the winds blew. GROW IN GRACE AND IN KNOWLEDGE OF JESUS. Instead of doing what the WORD teaches, and thereby doing the Father's will, many people do this with the Word.
2 Peter 3:16  As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.
The ones who are unstable are the ones who do their own wills. How can we be found of Him in peace? Be DILIGENT to be found of him in peace. "I never knew you" means: Thank God that He protects us from the storms the devil tries to destroy us with!
