Unlocking the Reservoirs of Power Within Our Lives

Heb 10:19-23 Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus, (20) By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh; (21) And having an high priest over the house of God; (22) Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. (23) Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)

Verse 12 mentions boldness to enter the most holy place.

Verse 22 mentions full assurance of faith to draw close to God.

These two qualities are lacking in many Christians.
All of us would like to have such strong confidence and faith in our position with God that we have this kind of boldness that takes us into the very holiest presence of God.
The information before verse 19 is about how Jesus Christ's sacrifice was so perfect and complete, and finished the job in dealing with sins that had to be done, that it renders us absolutely forgive of the very thing that keeps us away from God's holiest presence--sin.

We need to learn what is written before verse 19.

Before we get into that, notice this Proverb from Solomon.

Pro 3:5 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

Our own understanding needs to be replaced with His understanding.

Pro 3:10 So shall thy barns be filled with plenty, and thy presses shall burst out with new wine.

Verse 13 mentions wisdom as though it was a woman.

Pro 3:18-26 She is a tree of life to them that lay hold upon her: and happy is every one that retaineth her. (19) The LORD by wisdom hath founded the earth; by understanding hath he established the heavens. (20) By his knowledge the depths are broken up, and the clouds drop down the dew. (21) My son, let not them depart from thine eyes: keep sound wisdom and discretion: (22) So shall they be life unto thy soul, and grace to thy neck. (23) Then shalt thou walk in thy way safely, and thy foot shall not stumble. (24) When thou liest down, thou shalt not be afraid: yea, thou shalt lie down, and thy sleep shall be sweet. (25) Be not afraid of sudden fear, neither of the desolation of the wicked, when it cometh. (26) For the LORD shall be thy confidence, and shall keep thy foot from being taken.

Notice that the earth and heavens were made by God.
Gen 7:11 In the six hundredth year of Noah's life, in the second month, the seventeenth day of the month, the same day were all the fountains of the great deep broken up, and the windows of heaven were opened.

Compare:

Proverbs 3: (20) By his knowledge the depths are broken up, and the clouds drop down the dew.

Genesis 7:11 ...all the fountains of the great deep broken up, and the windows of heaven were opened.

God stored precious things in the heavens and earth when he made them that He planned to burst open one day.

Adam was made in the day when God made these things, and Noah was in the day when God loosed these things from the heaven and earth.

Noah's day saw the loosing and his name means "rest."
Just as the flood of Noah saw earth opened and Heaven loosed of their contents that flooded and washed away the sinfulness of the world, a lot of junk in our lives will be washed away when our depths are broken up and Heaven rains down it's goodness.

Notice the confidence that comes when knowledge breaks these things open.

Proverbs 3:21-26 My son, let not them depart from thine eyes: keep sound wisdom and discretion: (22) So shall they be life unto thy soul, and grace to thy neck. 23) Then shalt thou walk in thy way safely, and thy foot shall not stumble.

What is wonderful is that heaven and earth are the two sources from which God made us.
Proverbs 3:20 By his knowledge the depths are broken up, and the clouds drop down the dew.

Paul said the same thing in Ephesians 1 when he wrote of the power that works towards us that we need a revelation about.
Ephesians 1:16-17 Cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers; (17) That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:

If we learn these things and receive KNOWLEDGE about them, we will gain such a confidence in ourselves that the sky will be the limit.

When the flood burst forth, look what happened.

Gen 7:21 And all flesh died that moved upon the earth,...

All flesh died.

In our lives is a loot of fleshliness.

Look at the emphasis Paul placed upon what God can do by a power that is INSIDE US NOW.

Ephesians 3:20 Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,

Something lies with in us RIGHT NOW.
I prayed for a woman who testified of a lump forming on her side, and I ran to her and commanded it to go right there.
I saw many wonderful things occur.
Hebrews 10 has the truths that verse 19 say will cause us to be bold and fully assured with faith to enter God's holiest presence.

Heb 10:3 But in those sacrifices there is a remembrance again made of sins every year.

Notice that we read of THOSE sacrifices from the Old Testament.
But that is contrasted in Heb 10 with these words:

Heb 10:16-18 This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them; (17) And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more. (18) Now where remission of these is, there is no more offering for sin.

God remembers NO MORE our sins and iniquities, like He remembered Israel's sins even after they offered sacrifices for sins.
Heb 10:5-10 Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a body hast thou prepared me: (6) In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin thou hast had no pleasure. (7) Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God. (8) Above when he said, Sacrifice and offering and burnt offerings and offering for sin thou wouldest not, neither hadst pleasure therein; which are offered by the law; (9) Then said he, Lo, I come to do thy will, O God. He taketh away the first, that he may establish the second. (10) By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.

The will that the son of God was foretold to say was the Father's will that He came to do was the sacrifice of Himself.
Heb 10:14 For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.

He so perfected US by HIS OFFERING that we need no more sacrifice for our sins as opposed to Israel needing them every year for centuries.

Heb 10:15-19 Whereof the Holy Ghost also is a witness to us: for after that he had said before, (16) This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them; (17) And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more. (18) Now where remission of these is, there is no more offering for sin. (19) Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus,

Jeremiah prophesied that the new covenant involves causing God to forget our sins and iniquities.
You need to instead be REMISSION-CONSCIOUS.

We act like Jesus' sacrifice was no better than the old testament offerings that can never take away sins when we hesitate to enter the most holy place.
I don't care and God doesn't care WHAT your sins are.
This is the knowledge you need to unlock your depths and release the power of God within you and His blessings from heaven upon you to flush away all the fleshliness that hinders your life.

A huge part of your fleshliness is your ignorance of what Christ's sacrifice meant to God.
